Product Introduction
The emulsifying property of polyglycerol-2 oleate is much better than that of monoglyceride. Because polyglycerol ester has more hydrophilic hydroxyl groups; and its hydrophilicity increases with the increase of glycerol polymerization degree, and its lipophilicity varies with different fatty acid alkyl groups. Therefore, by changing the polyglycerol polymerization degree (2-10 polyglycerol), the type of fatty acid (oleic acid, stearic acid, lauric acid, caprylic decanoic acid, lactic acid) and the degree of esterification, a series of HLB values (1-20) can be obtained, and polyglycerol ester products with different properties from lipophilicity to hydrophilicity can be suitable for various special uses.
Application
As an efficient emulsifier, it is used in emulsified oil, cosmetic emulsification such as oil, pigment, flavor, industrial emulsification, etc. Polyglycerol-2 oleate, a natural plant-based raw material source, replaces some products that are harmful to the environment, animals and plants, etc. or explicitly banned products, etc., and is safer and more environmentally friendly.
