Produt Introduction
1,3-dihydroxyacetone is produced from beets, sugar cane, etc. through the fermentation of glycerin. It is a physiological compound that occurs naturally in plant, animal and human cells. Since the 1960s, dihydroxyacetone is an ingredient used in self-tanning cosmetics on the market . DHA does not damage the skin, and it does not disappear with simple washing, swimming or natural sweating, so it's considered a safe skin colorant, as the main raw material of almost all self-tanning products. But due to the constant shedding of skin cells, it only lasts 5 to 7 days.
Function
1,3-Dihydroxyacetone DHA is primarily used as an ingredient in sunless tanning products.
